Photographs

I was at Camp David on March 29th and a startling fact was presented to us:

Generation Y and beyond will be/are the first generation to NOT have photographs or family albums. They/we rely heavily upon digital images in our digital frames, Flickr galleries, Facebook albums and so on. The deluge of digital imaging has overtaken the family heirlooms.

In 2 years, computers are obsolete; in 5 years operating systems change, and everyday hard drives crash. If you can't get your photographs off of the totaled drive, they're gone forever. Yet today's photograph archival quality {professional print labs} last up to and beyond 200 years.

You want your great-great-grandkids to know how fun and gorgeous you are, right?
